Does this support multiple widgets for showing more than once?

No. As of version 1.1 (current version at the time of writing this) this plugin is not a multi-widget. You can only use it once, for showing posts from custom post types. #

Can I control the HTML formatting of the widgets title heading?

Yes, in fact, you can choose which HTML tags to use for the heading of the widget.

Not all themes are the same, and therefore they won’t always use the same HTML format for sidebar widgets, so I added the ability to choose from

, and tags for the title of the widget. This way you can match your particular styling for your themes sidebar. #

Can I customize the title text of the widget?

Yes, the same way you can with the default recent posts widget that is built into WordPress. #

Can I control how many posts to show in the widget?

Yes. You can display any number of posts between 1-20. Must show at least 1, and no more than 20 since it is a sidebar widget after all. #

Can I choose which post type to show the latest posts from?

That’s the whole point of this plugin. Yes, as long as the post type you want to use is registered as a public post type you can.

If you do not have any public custom post types, you will only be able to choose from the default WordPress post types: post, page and attachment. #

Are there default settings for the widget?

Yes. If you don’t customize any of the settings for the widget it will just show the last 5 posts from the built-in WordPress post type ‘post’. The title will display as Latest Posts and use

for the title formatting. #
