Why should I use Akismet?

Akismet acts as an in-between between comments and your WordPress site. When someone posts a comment, Akismet looks at it to make sure that it is a legitimate comment, and not spam. If it is spam, it goes into spam, and it won’t show up on your site. #

Installation Instructions

Upload the Akismet plugin to your blog, Activate it, then enter your Akismet.com API key.

1, 2, 3: You're done!
